Join the Friends of The Governor Stone
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a landlubber, you are welcome to become a member of the Friends of the Governor Stone, or as we like to call ourselves - FOGS shipmates. No sailing experience is necessary. All you need is a love of the sea and sailing ships to share in the fun and comaraderie of the FOGS.
As a FOGS shipmate, you will receive all our newsletters and updates about the Governor Stone. Members have first opportunity to participate, at no extra cost, in our day sails, community events, and work days. You will also receive first notice of new and exciting gifts in our Ship’s Store, as well as special offers just for FOGS shipmates.
Perhaps the most exciting benefit of being a FOGS shipmate is receiving exclusive first-notice for special events during the rebuilding of the 147-year-old vessel, and during the much-anticipated relaunch in 2024.
